Senior Structure Engineer Job Description: 1. Carry out prescriptive check of structure arrangement and scantlings, 2. Review FEA reports provided by designers, or carry out FEA by self, 3. Support business team for potential projects, 4. Trouble shooting for existing ships. Requirements: ? At least Master’s degree in Naval Architect, Marine Engineering or other maritime related fields with comprehensive knowledge in ship structures, ? At least 10 years experience in ship structure design / analysis / plan review, ? Deep experience in CSR or RO-RO ships, ? Familiar with FEA software （Patran, Femap, Ansys and etc.）, with solid FEA knowledge, ? Familiar with Class rules and IACS requirements, ? Fluent in English （oral / written / listen）, ? Familiar with Office Apps （Excel / Word / PowerPoint）. ? Working experience in Plan Approval activities in Class Society is a strong plus. |
