Pls email to newbuildings@imcshipping.com.cn 1. Consistently adhere to safe working policies and work practices of the shipyard, or any other premises while performing his/her duty. 2. Ensures that only proper and reliable personal protective equipment complying with shipyard policies are in use at works. 3. Timely report of all accidents and dangerous occurrences to the Project Site Manager. 4. Ensures that all recommendations made by the shipyard to promote safe and healthy working environment are carried out appropriately. 5. Always assist and remind each other on HSSE matter. 6. To fully comply with company code of conduct always. 7. Perform relevant detailed engineering review of plans and drawings for compliance with applicable rules, regulations, contract commitments and client’s specified requirements. 8. Supervision of the construction processes of ship hull including but not limited to steel preparation, steel cutting and shaping, block construction and assembly, block reception, ship structural integrity testing, vessel launching preparation, navigational equipment installation, firefighting systems installation and testing, lifesaving appliances installations, and cargo handling system installation. 9. Supervise to ensure that all construction processes and material in use are in accordance with the contract, best industry practices, and applicable rules and regulations. 10. To ensure all systems, equipment, and appliances under his charge shall be tested and commissioned in accordance with construction contract, and compliance with standard industry practices, and applicable rules and regulations. 11. Attend inspection and test as scheduled by the shipyard’s QC department. 12. Keep daily log of all activities with regard to machinery installations onboard and to submit weekly written summary reports and non-conformance reports of each ship to the Project Site Manager. 13. To ensure completion of all assignments directed by the Project Site Manager expeditiously. 14. Starting from steel preparation, coating applications are to be closely monitored supervised to ensure compliance with best industry practices, construction contract, and applicable rules and regulations. 15. Always ensure all inspection and test records, and appropriate pictures are available for his Project Site Manager to prepare period report or as and when requested by the head office or customer. 16. When required or instructed by the Project Site Manager, to attend to sea trial of vessel accordingly and to ensure all tests and trials assigned are appropriately carried out by relevant parties, and all test and trial records and data are accurately registered.
