PURPOSE OF THE JOB To prepare structural working plans and drawings of jackets, deck sections,bridges,docks and single buoy mooring indicating dimensions,tolerances,fasteners and joining requirements. Main Duties of the Jobholder 1.TRANSLATES ideas and sketches of structural engineers into working plans 2.MAKES revisions to original drawings, as required 3.PERFORMS drafting-related mathematical calculations 4.READS layouts 5.RECOMES familiar with code requirements,tolerances,and factors which influence safety 6.MAKES”LEROY”title blocks 7.MAINTAINS print files and folders 8.PROVIDES material takes-off and job recaps Requirement 1.Up to 2 yrs as a draftsman with sound knowledge of Micro station and or AutoCAD 2.High School Dipoma with drafting curriculum or trade school equivalent 3. Use Tekla |
