Job Title : Service Engineer Department: Service Reports To: Country Manager （REINTJES China） Responsible for: Service, Sales and Spare Parts Primary Function: -The position is the driving force behind effort to improve field service effectiveness and customer satisfaction by striving for continuous improvements. -Responsible for after sales market （service and spare parts）, sales / order coordination and marketing of marine gearboxes in the China market so as to meet company’s objectives and clients’ specifications. -Attending to customers’ complains, issues, problems, trouble shooting on time and promptly. Duties & Responsibilities: -Maximize profitability and increase after sales service and spare parts sales by supplying gearboxes which meet or exceed customer expectations -Attend to enquiries and prepare quotations -Service and Spare Parts Sales order administration / coordination including project follow-up -Participate in sea trials and commissioning of gears -Overhaul of gearboxes -Develop sales opportunities, close deals, process orders with our suppliers and customers -Visit customers and participate in site meetings where applicable. -Provide technical, sales and application support to markets -24 hours and seven days a week on call -Coordinate, participate and/or lead seminars and trade shows -Travel is expected to service support customers -To have very close communication with all the various internal departments Minimum Requirements -Engineering diploma/degree or equivalent with at least 2 to 3 years of industrial/marine sales,application and/or service experience -Relevant experience at managerial level -PC literate -Able to work independently and handle work pressure -Good communication and interpersonal skills -A team player with lots of initiatives -Ideally speaks and writes fluent English |
