Position: Sales Manager - base in Shanghai （Salary: negotiable） Reporting to: Country Manager China Description: 1. Responsible for doing his utmost to make TMC and our partner known to all potential customers 2. Responsible for achieving the sales goals according to yearly plan and budget 3. Responsible for handling customer inquiries and RFQ’s in a swift and efficient manner 4. When needed, responsible for implementing and following up activities initiated by management in Oslo. Responsibility: 1. Identify, map and visit yards, owners, designing companies etc. customers in the region 2. Make TMC brand and products known to potential customers 3. Ensure that TMC is on Makers List with yards and customers. 4. Actively explore new opportunities and business potential in the area 5. Identify, map and monitor competitors’ activities 6. Budget and results as prepared by TMC for the region 7. Handling customer inquiries and RFQ’s in a swift and efficient manner in cooperation with the sales department in Oslo and with our partner locally as and when required 8. Assist with marketing work when requested 9. Maintain a high service level towards customers and towards TMC organization 10. Maintain a high service and cooperation level towards our partner organization 11. Maintain adequate knowledge and competence about TMC and our partner products 12. Reporting to management as and when requested 13. Follow the TMC’s QA-system as and when applicable Cooperation: 1. To cooperate with our partner staff and sales staff in order to secure a good working environment between TMC and our partner. 2. To exchange sales and market information with our partner sales team 3. To cooperate with the other Area Sales Managers and sales management of TMC in order to secure newbuilding contracts and support from ship owner 4. Cooperate with sales department in TMC Oslo regarding follow up of quotations 5. Cooperate with technical, project and documentation department in TMC Oslo for follow up of projects and deliveries 6. Cooperate with marketing department in TMC Oslo regarding exhibitions and other customer related activities Required Minimum Qualifications: 1. 5 years above technical sales experience better in marine industry. 2. Good command in oral and written Chinese & English. 3. Bachelor’s degree. 4. Familiar with MS Office. 5. Good communication skills and good team player. 6. Loyalty and integrity to uphold the Company’s values. 7. Enthusiasm and persistence in getting the job done. 8. Self-driven with ability to prioritize tasks based on set objectives. 9.
