Job Title : Sales Engineer Department: : Sales & Marketing Reports To: Country Manager （REINTJES China） Responsible for: Sales and Technical Support Primary Function: Assist in sales and technical support of marine gearboxes in the China market so as to meet company’s objectives and clients’ specifications. Duties & Responsibilities: -Assist in sales by supplying gearboxes which meet or exceed customer expectations -Attend to enquiries, prepare technical advise to customer requirement and quotations -Follow up enquiries and attend to the requirement of the ship designer, classification society,yards and end users -Build distributors’ / dealers’ capabilities where / when applicable -Sales and order administration/coordination including project follow-up -Participate in sea trials and commissioning of gears as/when needed -Visit customers and participate in site meetings where applicable. -Provide technical, sales and application support to markets -Work closely within the various internal departments to ensure smooth flow of documents and arrangement requested by customers -Coordinate and participate in seminars and trade shows -Travel is expected to service support customers Minimum Requirements: -Engineering diploma/degree or equivalent with at least 2 to 3 years of industrial/marine sales,application and/or service experience -Relevant experience and contacts with shipbuilding companies, shipyards, ship owners,engines manufacturers as well as propulsion systems integrators -Capable of preparing annual sales forecast -PC literate -Able to work independently and handle work pressure -Good communication and interpersonal skills -A team player with good initiatives -Ideally speak and write fluent English |
