Summary of job duties and responsibilities: The main functions of this position( Manager ) includes leading the sales function, developing sale forecast, budget and manpower plans, supervising and training distributors and/or sales force to achieve the sale targets, pursuing key prospects, negotiating and construct appropriate sales terms. For supervisor, the main function is supporting manager in achieving sales target. This position will have accountability for the attainment of the agreed sales goals within the specified operational area of responsibility (could be at the Region and District level). This position is also accountable for monitoring, analyzing and presenting to operations and sales management, performance reports of sales activities and recommended appropriate responses and action plan. Primary duties and responsibilities: 1. Assisting Region and District Management in setting sales strategies (including policies related to product pricing terms and credit limit), budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets. 2. Accountable for assisting Regional and District Management in achieving all contracted sales goal. 3. Managing a team of senior sale representatives, sales representative and associates. 4. Interfaces with senior local management; ongoing contact with major customers; resolves customer complaints; represents the company at external events; act as part of the local management team. 5. Planning, assigning and directing team members on day-to-day and project work; conducting performance reviews; providing training opportunities; communicating to team members on company sales strategies and direction 6. Developing new business leads through contacts with community and business groups, current customers and etc. 7. Oversee the coordination of sales and customer service activities as well as cross sales activities to ensure that both groups are working effectively to meet customer expectations. 8. Any other duties assigned including liasing with National Accounts, keeping current on sales trends and activities in the assigned territory. Skills & knowledge requirements 1. Proven sales management development and training/coaching skills. 2. Good understanding of current product technology trends. 3. Demonstrate strong leadership. 4. Strong organization and problem solving skills 5. Excellent communication (oral as well as written) and presentation skills. 6. A self-motivated, energetic team player with business acumen, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. 7. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within and across direct management lines. 8. Able to work under pressure and deliver results under tight deadlines. Experience/qualifications requirements: 1. Bachelor degree or above in a technical or business disciplines or equivalent experience. 2. Minimum 5 years sales management experience in a similar environment or industry. 3. Proficiency in both written and reading English and Chinese. Thinking skills: Think strategically; analyze issues and use sound judgment, Be innovative; able to establishes sales protocol and procedures for the territory; recommends ways to improve the sales performance of the territory.
