Vendor Manager/Supplier Manager/Sourcing Manager, Shanghai MacGregor is looking for two to three senior vendor managers in the Shanghai area. One of the positions will have special focus on hydraulics. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 1. Identify, qualify and seleｃt competent suppliers to supply components, services and manufacturing facilities in accordance with company policy and business strategy. 2. Develop relationships with key suppliers and ensure optimal cooperation. 3. Continuously follow production, component and steel market development in China to be able in time to report and utilize advantages or prevent negative consequence. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Negotiate and sign agreements on behalf of the company with suppliers and partners. 2. Ensure the availability of components and manufactures to meet planned product volumes. 3. Maintain agreement with suppliers for components and manufacturing. Incorporate secrecy and group assignment clauses in the agreements when needed. 4. In cooperation with MacGregor R&D, Quality and other functions identify and evaluate Chinese supplier base. 5. Participate in developing work flow and logistic models with our suppliers and partners. 6. Secure that our business system （SAP） is correct ｕpdatｅd regarding supplier data relative to China, including delivery conditions, prices and lead times. 7. Reporting results and development within sourcing in China to Strategic Sourcing functions in MacGregor POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: Master/Bachelor degree, ideally in sience or technical disciplines, preferably combined with diploma in commercial discipline Experience: 1. 5-10 years relevant experience as commercial/technical buyer in the shipbuilding , machine industry or heavy industry 2. Proven successful experience in international purchasing Competencies 1. Good technical understanding 2. Good writing skills in Chinese and English 3. Excellent negotiating experience 4.
