Supplier Relationship Manager （SRM） MacGregor Sourcing is searching for 2 Supplier Relationship Managers in Shanghai - Jiangsu area. SRM main office location will be MacGregor Shanghai office, and for SRM operation he/she may use our offices in Nantong and Nanjing, too. SRM will be managing tactical sourcing processes like , supplier sourcing and seleｃtion, contracting , vendor management , business reviews with nominated partners/suppliers, etc. SRM will be operating in Category Teams as a team member following category strategy and targeting optimized QDCI performance in supply chain. For highly competent and experienced procurement professional we offer a challenging and interesting working environment in marine shipbuilding and offshore business with competitive terms and conditions. We are looking for a M.Sc. degree educated person with a good experience in procurement/sourcing manager tasks in offshore and/or marine industry. As an SRM you’ll need fluent English and Chinese skills. Good negotiation skills and willingness to travel are needed to perform well as an SRM. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 1. To support MacGregor’s strategic and financial targets by reinforcing China local sourcing with a strong and competent sourcing team. 2. To enable “local-local” strategy and development of local sourcing intelligence. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Operationally integrates the Supplier with MacGregor Divisions o Vendor Management （APQC 10280） o Contracting （APQC 10290-91） o Supplier seleｃtion （APQC 10288） o Material cost planning 2. Manages Tactical Sourcing Processes 3. Implements MacGregor Vendor Management tools, “must be” and others needed. 4. SRM is responsible to solve any delivery, quality or service related problems, when escalated. 5. Assures that the supplier receives and uses forecasts from MCG Divisions （APQC 10222） 6. Organizes and manages regular business reviews with the suppliers.（APQC 10222） 7. Co-operates in supplier development actions （ APQC 10280） 8. Actively participate in product development 9. Follows up that the agreed actions are performed 10. Assures that the spirit of the Contract is fulfilled. 11. Risk management – financial control etc. 12. Promotes and implement Supplier Chain Financing POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education University degree in Engineering. （Or similar） Experience Min.5 year’s professional experience in Procurement / Sourcing in offshore/ship building industry Competencies Strong negotiation skills. Fluent English and Chinese communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organization and ability to manage and influence others |
